Squeeeeee!

[livejournal.com profile] jer_bear711  has a new series set for publication in 2010 with a new wrinkle on seeing dead people that sounds a-MAAAAA-zing.  Click here for the full story.
And because nobody else mentioned it... As an Italian, I had a small problem with last night's Leverage.  Any mafioso worth his linguine with clam sauce would know the guy with the black suit and center-white collar is ALWAYS calledjer-bear711 has a new series set for publication in 2010 with a new wrinkle on seeing dead people that sounds a-MAAAAA-zing.  Click here for the full story.

As an Italian, I had a small problem with last night's Leverage.  Any mafioso worth his linguine with clam sauce would know the guy with the black suit and center-white collar is ALWAYS called "Father", never "Reverend".  Evah!  But I forgive them.  I forgive them everything, because of the following exchange between Timothy Hutton and Christian Kane:

Hutton: Let me get this straight, you killed a guy with an appetizer?   Did you just kill a guy with an appetizer?

Kane: It was the lemon juice.  I put a little on top of each one.   Maybe.

(Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] seanan_mcguire !  The line was much better the way they really did it.  :D)

Can I just say how much I love this show? It's as great as those bridesmaids' dresses were awful!

Absolutely {{{{peaches}}}}! It's definitely my current favorite, right up there with Eureka and Burn Notice. (I'm fond of Sanctuary but it's not luurrrrve. :D) And the "appetizer gag" was possibly the best use of a mushroom on the wall--er, spear on the wall I've seen in series television. It was set up so seamlessly. The character development it provided when it was first mentioned was so perfect, you couldn't imagine there was more to it.
Hugs and big big grins,

Burn Notice. I just discovered this series on Netflix and it only goes through Season One. Can't wait until they issue another batch for viewing.

And btw -- it appears there is some technical glitch in your post as some bits repeat. Gremlins. I'm just sayin'....

My bad. It reposts each time you edit it, which I did in response to new and better info. :-)
Really can't wait for the new season of Burn Notice to start next week. The first half of the season ended on a real cliffhanger.
I'm tempted to check in on Battlestar Gallactica too. I'm one of those awful people who routinely checks the end of a book, and I wouldn't mind knowing who the last Cylon is.
Hugs and evil grins,
Jean Marie
