I swear, it has to be something in the water at RWA HQ. I love my local RWA chapter. They're so nice. But to play with them--and effectively pay forward to other writers in the genre--I have to shell $100/year for the privilege of sending senior RWA fruitb--er, board members to conferences free for life. *snarl* Who said writing was a solitary profession?
