Anniversaries and Some Good Stuff

Today is the day I set aside to remember two remarkable women, Teri and my mom.  Bought the roses, visited them...and felt pretty damn sorry for myself because they're no longer around.
Then a friend called with the world's best news.  I can't share it yet, because she hasn't, but it's totally wonderful and totally deserved.  And it had me dancing around the room.  Go you--and you know who you are.  ;-)
Hugs and happy dances,
Jean Marie

I miss Teri. :( And I'm sorry that your mom isn't here. ~hugs~

Good to have some glad mixed with that sad, Jean Marie. I was talking about Teri to a friend today, while I sold the book she and I both have stories in, so I know Teri would be happy about that.

She would, indeed. And don't you know, that's the one thing I forgot to mention in my ramble? *facepalm*
Hugs and smiles,
Jean Marie

I still find myself very disappointed that I never got a chance to meet her in Bethesda in '06. Her health wasn't good so she couldn't swing by. And then she died.

She was remarkably supportive of my art work and she certainly didn't have to be. That generosity is something I'll never forget. That and her very big heart.

Thanks {{{{scatteredlogic}}}}. Yeah, Mom died one year after Teri to the day. Hence the memorial. I'll be my normal, irritating self tomorrow.
Hugs,
Jean Marie

Teri's heart was as big as the world. I'm sorry you and Moggy didn't get to meet her too. She thought the world of you both.
Big hugs,
Jean Marie

I was thinking about Teri today...New Orleans, Atlanta, and the time AJ and I spent with her in San Antonio. *sigh* I miss her...and I miss you, too.

btw...will you share the good news when it's made public? Cuz...well...I'm nosy, ya know!

I miss you too {{{{peaches}}}}. One of these days, when the economy and everybody's schedule allows, we really do need a Misfit reunion. :-)
Yeah, I'll share, but she gets the honor of the first announcement. I figure word will be out in a couple of days. I know if I were her, I'd be busting to tell the world.
Hugs and smiles,
Jean Marie

I miss Teri something fierce. Her wit, her advice. Like you, she made me laugh over her astue observations of people and situations and boggle at her incredible writing talent.

Miss you, Teri. ~hugs~
