It's hard, not because of the con, which was pure pleasure, but because I had to post the pictures at Beyond the Veil using the Blogger app.  Snarl.  I hate posting pictures in Blogger.  The fool thing requires knowing which one of their impenetrable instructions actually posts flush left, THEN minoogling the html around it.   And I'm not great shakes at html either.
But some of the pictures are nice--and the people were splendid.
Enjoy!

Blogger has a little square you click that sets the photos left, center or flush right. It's just below the Browser button when you upload the pix.

I, on the other hand, can't figure out how to get LJ to wrap the text around the photos in this application. How's about we trade notes?

Hmmm, I'm not sure LJ does a text wrap. I never bothered with it, because I haven't had much luck with true cutlines. (Blame it on too many years in periodicals. I can't stand having a picture without an attached explanation, because I know anything set in text will get separated from it.)
The problem with the Blogger buttons is they don't work as advertised. The only way to get the photos flush left is to use "None", then go into the HTML window and arrange your text. "Left", "Center" and "Right" give you the first image in the appropriate place, then jam everything together in a running zig-zag. And heaven help you if you load the images in the proper order, because the last one is always posted on top. And to make matters worse, they don't have a cutline function either. Growl.
Will try to figure out how LJ works its wrap and get back to you.
So, when do you get back from the land of Jolly Jack?
Hugs and smiles,
Jean Marie

Hummm.. I just click the Left button and the photos go left. Apparently Blogger likes me.

I'm back from Merry Olde on the 14th. Not getting much editing done which means it'll be hot and heavy when I do return home. I am, however, getting research for future books, not all of which are set in the Victorian Era.
