It's better than Cheezburger.  Really,  The good folks at the Calgary World Fantasy Con have assigned me to moderate the panel on Genre Hopping.  I'm even going to forgive them the time, 10 a.m., Sunday, because the line-up is unbelievably fine: WFC Guest of Honor Barbara Hambly, romance great Jo Beverly, and mystery and YA author Karen Dudley.  I am so pumped!  Maybe I'll get the chance to tell Jo the story about my mom and St. Raven on the loooooong plane ride to Hong Kong.  Hugs and smiles, Jean Marie

10 a.m. This will be much fun watching you fall out of bed and stagger toward the shower sometime before noon. Especially when I'll do everything I can to keep you up late the night before (evil chuckle).

Nice panel lineup. That one I'll sit in on. You always have to have one heckler in the crowd at that hour of the morning.

Oh good! An energetic heckler will help me stay awake. :D BTW, the Broad Universe Rapid Fire Reading will be 8 p.m. Saturday night. I've volunteered. Group readings, like the RFR and the Dragon Moon Reading you'll be joining, stand a better chance of actually garnering an audience. Otherwise, the authors can be reading to an empty room.

Herself (Anne) is friends with Jo Beverly. I got to meet her once up in Seattle, she is a lovely person, and Barb Hambly... woowoo, a class act. I dont know Dudley .. but, hey, you will have a blast..
