Tonight I am so doomed.  One cable station is running 13th Warrior while another plays Desperado.  Have I ever mentioned this SERIOUS jones I have for Antonio Banderas.  He was the physical model for Fynn, one of the Vanyr you don't meet in With Nine You Get Vanyr and among the best reasons I know for writing the sequels.
One day.  One day.
In the meantime, I suspect the Girls in the Basement are going to go to town tonight.  All the more reason to continue working on the research questions needed for the current projects.
But oh, teh pretteh!

Oh yeah! Even when the character is doing what comes naturally for a cat. I can't help imagining the mugging that's going on behind the mic while AB is reading the lines. Of course, my definition of sex appeal includes a large dose of goofiness. I'm a big fan of Johnny Depp and Clive Owen for much the same reasons. Daniel Craig, on the other hand, won't do a darn thing for me until somebody proves his face won't crack if he laughs.

me thinks Santa needs to bring you a TiVo for xmas. Or at least all of Antonio's dvd's. You might be able to take them off of your taxes as research materials. 0:-)

Desperado was one of the first DVDs I ever bought, and 13th Warrior followed pretty quickly after that. Much of our DVD collection qualifies as, ahem, inspiration.
