They set two scenes in the Pentagon: one in a gorgeous "conference room" with a circular mezzanine, colored marble columns and big, crystal clear windows; and a similarly well-appointed office.  ROFLOLLMAOWTIME  Though, in all fairness, the nasty yellow film overlaying all the windows probably wouldn't broadcast very well.  And then there are the access gaffes--how folks get into the building and gain access to high ranking officers.  *snerk*  Oh a detailed knowledge of a setting is a very dangerous thing.
Cheers and snickers,

And this is why I laugh and laugh and laugh at those thriller movies where evildoers take out the infrastructure and all their computers and wireless devices still work just fine...because, no.

I once worked in the office building where they filmed Spenser for Hire. Yup, Registry of Motor Vehicles in Boston, now a hospital parking garage.

Great...now I've got things to look for when I watch it! I'm fairly certain there aren't too many big crystal clear windows in the building!

Oh, there are some gorgeous big windows, but they're all covered with a nasty yellow film to prevent spy satellites from looking in and reduce shattering in case of damage. This was one of the reasons for the mercifully low number of casualties on 9/11. The film prevented the windows from exploding into a million knives.
The other hilarity is the size of the 3-star's office. Anyplace except the Pentagon, chances are the 3-star's in charge. At the Pentagon, you need to have four stars on your shoulder to qualify for an office that large.
Cheers and smiles,
Jean Marie
