What's the required apology time...

...for taking the cat to the dentist? The Duz
went to the vet's for a routine tooth cleaning and wound up getting an extraction. He had an abcess, and he's such a sweetie, neither I nor the vet even guessed. There are always surprises with foundling cats. At least this is fixable.
Poor guy's in hiding. When he emerges, we'll start the antibiotic and the pain med. The worst part is he'll need a check-up in six months.
I'm going to be apologizing forEVER!
Hugs,
Jean Marie

Date: 2006-12-05 01:56 am (UTC)Bree and I beat the bushes for over a week before I gave in and adopted him. We think he belonged to a tenant who died. The cat is so affectionate and so socialized. I can't imagine anyone who nurtured his personality abandoning him. The kind of person who trained him wouldn't have done that. He or she couldn't have.
Incidentally, the name comes from the Vampire King in VAMPIRE GAME. His canines are exceptionally long. Fortunately they're in very good shape too. It was his molar that caused the problem.
