I don't know why I'm surprised.  They've got cons for everything else, but... but...
SantaCon?
It started about fifteen years ago in San Francisco (where else?), when several dozen people in cheap Santa suits gathered for an evening of "Kringle Kaos".  Now on weekends throughout December, in locations from Baltimore to Bahrain, hundreds of people in Santa suits promenade and pub crawl.  There's no agenda except holiday happiness.  Sometimes participants hand out naughty gifts to grown-ups or sweets to children, but the only requirement seems to be good will toward all.
They've even got Santarchy in Washington, DC.  Next year, I'm so there!
